Our real estate story begins with Daphne entering the industry (following an extensive career in sales and marketing) in 1999 in the northern beaches in Sydney. She very quickly established herself as a high achiever after learning her craft from two of Forestville's leading real estate agents. After obtaining her full licence three years later, she established an extensive clientele and at the time she and Bob moved to Orange in 2007, was responsible for more than 75% of property listed by the combined agency offices in both Forestville and Dee Why.

Bob has worked in sales and marketing since leaving his teaching career in 1970. During most of the 1990's he worked as an account manager selling into major corporations, which enabled him to learn the delicate “art of negotiation” in a most competitive environment, which he more recently decided to bring into the real estate arena, when he joined his wife Daphne selling real estate in Orange. His formal training was obtained at the Real Estate Institute in Sydney.

“Like a duck to water” was an apt description of Bob's real estate performance, after watching his good lady continue to perform with distinction - and he was smart enough to further develop his skills by working closely with her - in fact this couples greatest strength is their combined synergy and sales skills which total more than 75 years!

Two years ago a family tragedy in Queensland led Bob & Daphne to move to the Sunshine Coast, where, as well as providing support for their eldest son and his family, helped open a new real estate business in Nambour (as Licensee) for a business owner friend.

Bob & Daphne have now returned to Orange to resume their real estate vocation, joining the McCormack Barber team as senior agents. They bring a lifetime of experience and expertise and perform much of their real estate tasks as a powerful team...
